I’ve been around traditional crafts since I was child, and I know how fragile they can be. Our lives are developing and changing rapidly. Many things are disappearing and will never appear in this world again. So are our traditions. To truly keep them alive, they need more than admiration—they need to be part of modern life. That’s why Bamboura was created: to bring the fading art of bamboo weaving into today’s world. Bamboo is light, natural, eco-friendly, and even carries a subtle fragrance. For me, passing on tradition isn’t about freezing it in time—it’s about giving it new life. That’s how we honor heritage while keeping it alive for the future.
